Mission Statement

The Ethnic Awareness Programs are designed to improve race relations, educate and unite this diverse community. The multi-cultural events inlcude: "The Film Exposure Feast," racial discussions, educational skits, talent showcases, social events and awards. These events help us to understand one another's cultures, respect one another's differences and share one another's likenesses. All of our ancestors have made this nation great and the fiber of this nation is woven and bonded together with those of all races.

We must learn to understand and recognize the struggles, sacrifices, and accomplishments of all whom have made this nation great, from the Hispanic and Native Americans (Indians) who inhabited this land, the African-Americans who build this nation. The Anglo Saxons who left the Mother Land in search for a better life. The true history of this nation must be told for all to hear.

Program History and Purpose

The purpose of this program is to help members of the community understand and recognize the struggles, sacrifices, and accomplishments of all whom have made this nation great. From the Natives who inhabited the southern end of this country, to the Hispanics who occupied the rest, and the Blacks who built on this. The true history of this nation, the United States, must be told for all to hear.

We encourage every ethnic group to participate and/or attend these events. The programs will educate our community about the common links all diverse groups share. These events will be one of the first steps to healing our city, state and country. We invite young and old, Jew and Gentile, and those of every race to attend and bring your friends.

Racism is alive and well in this city, state, and nation. Let us strive to break the chains that keep this great nation from being all it can be and let us be committed to destroying racism. The fight has begun in Georgia.
